The FA WPL promotion race to FA WSL 2 ep 9

Huge win in the top of the table clash in the Northern Division for Stoke while Charlton comes closer and closer to Brighton in the Southern

 

Northern Division

Bradford 3 Newcastle 0

Preston 0 Stoke 3

Stoke are now in the driving seat in the title race with their 3-0 win over League leaders PNE. Bradford stays in the race by beating Newcastle. Forest and Albion are although virtually close to being leaders.

Cardiff drop two points at home but goes third up two places while Charlton record a precious victory and now trails Brighton by six points with two games on hand.

Next Sunday will see two title contenders face-off : Charlton v Coventry with the loser unlikely to win the League, while Cardiff will be down to West Ham for a repeat of yesterday’s game.
